What is SALT?
SALT has proven to be a powerful time of healing and training specifically designed for art students and InterVarsity staff and volunteers. Gathering from around the country, participants will learn a biblical framework for thinking about the arts and engaging in art making. We’ll spend time talking through challenges we wrestle with and share ideas and resources for personal growth and Kingdom advancement through the arts. SALT cultivates a unique environment for incredibly free and creative corporate worship equipping and releasing students and staff to return home empowered and prepared to serve God and build his Kingdom in community with their gifts.

Experience the intersection of art and faith – SALT 2011 participants will have access to high quality studios and performance spaces during the conference and grow in their understanding of the connections between art and faith. The conference will include teaching from Dr. Colin Harbinson International Director of Stoneworks, small groups, practical training, personal development and community with other artists. Join us June 19-24 at Belhaven University in Jackson, MS.
